That up there is Auburn High senior softball player Lauren Deaton and her father, Brian, who breaks the souls of potential Army Rangers for a living.

She's going to be playing tonight and tomorrow at Auburn's 22-team softball tournament. Read more about her here.

OF Lauren Deaton, Sr. — hit .362 with 18 RBI last year; P Allie May, So. — picked up two wins at Central Alabama Invitational last week; 3B Brittany Truitt, Jr. — hit .312 with 15 RBI last year
First Game: vs. Horseshoe Bend (0-3), 4:30 p.m.

Beauregard Hornets
Players to Watch:
2B Peyton DeLong, Jr. — hit .565 with 35 RBI last year; P Robin Dunaway, So. — had 1.44 ERA last year; OF Amy Goodson, Sr. — hit .425 last year

Central Red Devils
Players to Watch:
