Much has been debated regarding President Obama's economic stimulus plan. Do I think it's best for America? I'm not qualified to give that answer so there's no point going there.
But I will say this: it continues to amaze me that conservatives blast the plan and liberals seem to think it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. Republicans continued to ridicule the president for this "reckless" plan for America. If George W. Bush came up with the idea, what would they say about it then? It would be hailed by the GOP, no doubt, and slammed to the turf by Democrats.
Which brings me to my point. Figuratively, people aren't slamming or hailing this stimulus plan. Instead, they have simply chosen partisanship and will mindlessly boo or cheer accordingly.
Lack of economic judgment and greed put this nation in the hole financially. Narrow-mindedness isn't the way to crawl out.
