Heather Bazemore and Josh Lee were joined in Christian marriage June 27, 2009 at First Baptist Church in Opelika.

The bride is the daughter of David and Joy Bazemore of Opelika. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. L.N. Bazemore and the late L.N. Bazemore of Opelika and Dr. Winston Crawley and the late Margaret Crawley of Richmond, Virginia.

The groom is the son of Ben and Jackie Lee of St. Simons Island, Georgia. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Williamson of Bainbridge, Georgia, and the late Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Lee.

Prior to the chiming of the five o'clock hour, Cade and Jennifer Farris sang several songs of worship, including "Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing" and "The Potter's Hand." Jane Leland, organist, provided beautiful accompaniment for the processional and recessional. The Reverend Steve Scoggins brought a message of encouragement from Proverbs 18:22 and then performed the vows and rings ceremonies. As the couple took their first communion together, the Farrises sang "Everlasting God."

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Hillary White, the bride's twin sister, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included the bride's sisters Grace Bazemore Yukich and Shelley

Bazemore Spears, sister of the groom, Meghan Hurly, and friends Natalie Bailey, Courtney Clemons, Sara Johnson and Ashley Vines.

The groom's father, Ben Lee, and twin brother, Jon Lee, served as best men. His groomsmen were friends Daniel Digby, Jos Edison, Thomas Lamberth, Hollis Rish, Cason Schenfish, Daniel White and Luke Williams.

Guests were welcomed to a reception at the Brownfield House where the band Bell and Lane entertained. After a honeymoon trip to Saint Lucia, the couple is at home in Birmingham.

Following the rehearsal, Mr. and Mrs. Lee honored the couple with a fun dinner at the Ag pavilion on Auburn's campus. Members of the wedding party and extended family joined in the festivities.
