Laura Leanne Herring and Steven Kurt Gardner were married on Sunday, July 26, 2009 at 4:00 p.m.
The wedding took place at Fountainview Mansion in Auburn, AL. The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. James Martin Herring of Dadeville, AL. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Edward Johnson of Centreville, AL. Rev. Randall Nichols of Birmingham performed the double-ring ceremony.
The program of nuptial music was presented by Emily Herring, Gary Klarenbeek, and Randall Nichols. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Dr. James Herring. The matron of honor was Mrs. Ashley Condon, and Emily Herring served as maid of honor. Both are sisters of the bride. Caroline Condon, niece of the bride, served as a junior bridesmaid and read scripture.
Mr. J.E. Johnson served as best man while Russell Herring, brother of the bride, was a groomsman. Clayton Johnson, nephew of the groom, served as a junior groomsman. Jack Herring and Paul Condon, both nephews of the bride, were junior ushers. Julia Herring, niece of the bride, served as flower girl, and Brian Condon, the bride's nephew, was the ring bearer.
A reception at Fountainview followed the garden ceremony. After a honeymoon trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple now resides in Mobile, Alabama.
