The fifth annual Auburn University Undergraduate Research Forum will be today and Tuesday in the Forestry and Wildlife Sciences Building, beginning at 5 p.m. Undergraduates from a range of disciplines will give podium or poster presentations of their recent academic work, showcasing the diversity of topics, approaches and interests at AU.

David Carter will give the keynote address titled "Forecasting Hindsight: Future Researchers and the 2008 Presidential Election as a Political Time Capsule" at 6 p.m., Tuesday in the conference hall. The forum is a campus-wide event and is sponsored by a number of organizations that promote undergraduate research on campus, including the Office of the Vice President for Research, the Honors College, the Cellular and Molecular Biology Program, Sigma XI and the Office of Undergraduate Study.
