»  Comments | Post a Comment

State Sen. Ted Little presented a $5,000 check to the College of Education at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in room 3084 in the Haley Center.

The funds will help support the K-12 Master's Instructional Leadership Preparation Program in the Department of Educational Foundations, Leadership, and Technology.

This redesigned master's degree for K-12 administrators is based on the Alabama Department of Education's new instructional leadership standards. Auburn Associate Professor Lynne Patrick and Jane Huntley, director of the East Alabama Inservice Center, will establish a partnership to provide outreach services to 15 local school systems.
