JEMISON, Ala. (AP) _ A Shelby County man has died after being hit by a train in Chilton County.
The accident happened near Jemison around 7:30 Sunday morning. The identity of the 31-year-old was not immediately released because his family had not been notified.
Investigators do not know why the 31-year-old was on the tracks, but they do not suspect foul play.
The accident is being investigated by local authorities and CSX railroad.
