Two residential armed robberies reported
Two more armed robberies were reported this weekend, according to Auburn police reports.
The first occurred in the area of Moore Circle Sunday morning when three men, one armed with a gun, entered an Auburn residence, took electronics and cash and left, Auburn police Assistant Chief Tommy Dawson said Monday.
The second happened off Harmon Drive when three people, one armed with a handgun, entered a duplex, took money and left, Dawson said.
No injuries were reported in either report, he said.
“We have several detectives working on the case to develop suspects,” he said.
The reports come after two similar robberies, one Jan. 18 on North Ryan Street and another Wednesday on Lee Road 12. In both, three men entered residences, took valuables and left. Injuries, which were not life-threatening, were reported in both.
