After 20 minutes Monday, a 12-member Lee County jury sentenced Barry Lee Jones to life in prison without parole.
Friday, the jury found Jones, 20, of Opelika guilty of killing his infant son, Kevin Christopher Jones, nearly two years ago.
The prosecution called one witness Monday, while the defense has called a number of Jones' family members including his mother and sister.
