Education grant to fund grad students' studies at AU

A $750,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Education will fund tuition and stipends for graduate students in Auburn University’s Rehabilitation Counseling master’s program.

The five-year grant will pay the education and training of eight graduate students training for careers in vocational rehabilitation, according to a release from the university.

To date, the Department of Special Education, Rehabilitation, Counseling/School Psychology in the College of Education has received $3.375 million in U.S. Department of Education funding for its undergraduate, graduate, post-graduate and doctoral programs, according to the release.
