Opelika police find meth lab while serving warrant; 4 arrested

In the course of serving a felony warrant, Opelika police discovered a methamphetamine manufacturing lab Monday at a residence in the 2700 block of Lee Road 158.

Officers went to the residence in an attempt to serve the warrant and in the course of doing so, officers were given consent to search the residence and discovered that Jeri Lynn McDonald, 42, of Salem and Christopher Randall Bailey, 34, of Opelika were in possession of a methamphetamine lab, Opelika police Capt. Allan Elkins said.

McDonald and Bailey were arrested at 10:50 a.m. Monday and charged with unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance.

Also arrested during the same incident were; Luther Mosley Jr., 45, of Opelika, who was charged with two counts of unlawful possession or receipt of a controlled substance, and Chrystal Nicole Henry, 26 of Dadeville, who was charged with unlawful possession or receipt of a controlled substance.
