Beulah Utilities District will be carrying out water main flushing operations while the fire department makes flow tests in the entire system Feb. 13 through March 5.
Flushing may result in the temporary discoloration of water, but users can be assured that no harmful effects will be brought about to the water itself.
Flushing the mains is a routine procedure and results in improved service to users. Due to the possibility of discolored water, the utilities district recommends that customers not wash light-colored clothes or use any hot water until the water is running clear.
Beulah Utilities District is asking for customers’ patience during these operations.
