3 juveniles arrested in Opelika rec center burglary, theft

Three juveniles were arrested and charged with burglary and theft Friday at 6:20 p.m. after they were found inside the Opelika Recreation Center, according to authorities.

Two 13-year-olds and a 12-year-old allegedly entered the recreation center in the 1100 block of Denson Drive and took candy, according to Opelika police Capt. Allan Elkins.

On Monday, Opelika investigators were looking for a fourth person suspected of being involved in the recreation center burglary and theft of property, Elkins said.

The names of juvenile suspects are not released by police.
