AU Marching Band in top eight picked by ESPN and Paramount Pictures

Auburn University marching band was selected by ESPN and
Paramount Pictures as one of the top eight university marching bands in
the country to participate in a competition promoting the DVD release of
the new Indiana Jones and the Quest for the Skull movie.

A production crew will be on Auburn’s football practice field on
Friday, Sept 12, from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. to videotape the Auburn band
as they perform the theme song from the movie.

Performances can be viewed online, and fans can vote online for their
favorite college marching band. The other bands selected include: LSU,
Georgia, Florida, Texas, USC, Oklahoma and Clemson.

Each participating school band will receive $5,000 and the first place
winner will receive $25,000.
