Immigration to be topic of Friday discussion at AU Hotel

A roundtable discussion on immigration and its effects on Alabama will be held Friday from 9 a.m. to noon at The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center.

The discussion will be hosted by Don-Terry Veal, director of the Center for Governmental Services at AU, and moderated by Tim Lenox, host and anchor of “For the Record” on Alabama Public TV.

Also speaking will be Sen. Scott Beason, Sen. Ted Little, Agriculture Commissioner Ron Sparks and experts from the Alabama Department of Public Safety, Alabama Department of Public Health, Alabama State Department of Education, Auburn University and other experts and stakeholders.

The roundtable discussion will be followed by a related program on APT.

Faculty, students and the public are invited to attend the discussion.
