McKinney, Caylor retain state school board seats

MONTGOMERY — Randy McKinney, of Orange Beach, and Mary Jane Caylor, of Huntsville, will return to the state school board.
 
The two were elected to second terms Tuesday as vice president and president pro tem, respectively, of the state school board.

McKinney was appointed to the board in 2003 and won election to a full term in 2004. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Alabama, a master’s from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and a law degree from Birmingham School of Law.

Caylor, a former superintendent of Huntsville City Schools, has served on the board since 1995. She earned her bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees at the University of Alabama.
