Valley police investigate death of Auburn girl

Police in Valley along with the Chambers County coroner’s officer are investigating the unexplained death of a seven-year-old girl from Auburn.

The girl was brought to the hospital by the child’s mother and family friend around 1:00 Sunday afternoon.

The girl was later pronounced dead.

Her body will be taken to the medical examiners office for an autopsy.

Both the parents and the family friend were interviewed by investigators.
