From the column: Donna Brazile vs. Paul Begala

Actually, that’s not even an accurate title. I should call this post, “Donna Brazile lays the smack down on Paul Begala.“

If you missed the column, I was talking about how Hillary Clinton’s surrogates marched to the cable news networks Tuesday to chant their mantra about Barack Obama’s problems winning working-class white voters. CNN pundit Donna Brazile, who is also a Democratic superdelegate and a former adviser to Bill Clinton, had obviously had her fill of that argument before Begala delivered it.

As I said in the column, Begala participated in the panel via satellite; he’s lucky that he had the safety of spatial separation during this exchange.

And as for this coalition, these “eggheads and African-Americans,“ as Begala refers to them, exactly who are they? Bloggers at Democratic Underground say they know.
