AREA ROUNDUP: Opelika 9th graders blank Prattville

The Opelika ninth-grade football team shut out Prattville, 25-0, Monday night.

Scoring touchdowns for the Bulldogs were Cameron Hill, Dalton Pritchett, Cedric Matthews and Justin Clark.

Opelika took a 19-0 lead at halftime and cruised to victory over the rival Lions.

Defensive standouts for the Bulldogs were Torey Agee, Jamarlo Alford and Tony Philpot. The defense also had four sacks in the game.
