DIXIE ROUNDUP: Auburn Blue stays alive with win

DECATUR — Auburn Blue stayed alive in the Dixie Majors (11-12) O-Zone State Tournament with a 14-3 win over Saraland on Sunday.

Tyus O’Neal El, Adam Finley, Andrew White and Will Eiland combined to give up one earned run on the mound.

Hunter Roland was 3-for-3 with two home runs and four RBI, Chase Storm was 2-for-2 with a home run and two RBI, Justin Agyemang was 2-for-3 with an RBI and O’Neal El was 1-for-3 with an RBI.

Auburn Blue fell to Enterprise, 4-3, on Saturday night to fall into the losers bracket.

Storm took the loss on the mound in relief of Eiland, and Roland had a two-run homer.

Auburn Blue will play Central of Florence today at 6 p.m.
