I’m not sure what’s worse, Paris Hilton coming to the aid of drunken elephants or what you can read below. A man married a dog. Really.

I have some advice: never attempt to lift your trunk open with the key while it is still inside the lock. There’s always a chance the key could break off, leaving you stranded miles from home, possibly in Covington, Ga, on a Sunday afternoon.
If this happens to you, you’ll have to call a locksmith. He’ll gladly cut you a new key and dig the remnants of the old key from the trunk lock. All you have to do is pay him $270.
That’s all I have to say on this subject.

Didn’t post once I returned to my hotel room in Covington, Ga., Saturday night. I actually fell asleep, which is quite an accomplishment for me.
Here are five observations I took from my visit to Sanford Stadium:
1. Parking and traffic can be a breeze, if you’re lucky like me. I was so concerned all week about where to park and how long I’d be stuck in traffic after Saturday night’s game. Put it this way—I’ve had more traffic in the Chik-fil-A parking lot at lunchtime than on campus last night at Georgia. I zipped out of the parking deck, then on to a ramp specifically created for post-game traffic, then on to the highway in less than a minute. Once the game was no longer competitive, I figured there was no reason to sit around, so I guess that helped my traffic situation too. Here’s a suggestion for 2009: park in the East Campus Parking Deck, but it may be wise to get there early to assure yourself a spot. The walk to the stadium is 25-30 minutes, but we all need the exercise.
2. Drunk fans are goobers: I’m not sure what the intent of being at a high-profile, top-dollar football game is if you are too belligerent enough to understand what is going on. Sell your tickets to fans who want to watch the game and actually comprehend who has the ball, then go to a freakin’ bar, or stay home.
3. Auburn officials should ban me from Jordan-Hare Stadium for next year’s Georgia game. Since 1987, Auburn has beaten Georgia every time I HAVE NOT ATTENDED THE GAME. I heard something about Auburn’s success at Sanford Stadium. I was there in 1991, 2003 and Saturday, all Auburn defeats. I was not there in 1993, 1995, 1997, 1999, or 2005, all Auburn wins.
4. Sanford Stadium has escalators to the upper deck! Big props.
5. Georgia has a very pretty campus. Lots of trees and plenty of greenspace. I also noticed that many students had scooters. Apparently, most of their classes are too far apart to get there on foot. Didn’t see any Harleys, though. I don’t know if I could do the scooter thing.

My seat is in the stratosphere. I’ve been in the upper deck at Auburn most of the season and I kind of like it anyway. You can see everything from the upper deck. It’s not too cold for an AU-Georgia game. I think it’s about 62. That will change once the sun sets after the half.
I’m going to watch the game and quit blogging for a while. I’ll have a final report after the game at some point. Get off of your computer and watch the darn game already. Too bad Keith Jackson isn’t calling it.

Fans on both sides are pretty much packing into this house. This place is going to be rockin’ and that’s what we should expect. More than 10,000 Auburn fans made the trip, occupying much of this blasted upper deck. If I get on my toes, I think I could touch the moon. The fans are pretty loud. I guess they should be. They paid enough for these seats. I guess they can do what they want. Hopefully this will be another showcase for the SEC.
