The arrest of Henry Louis Gates Jr., a Harvard professor, has captured the national spotlight. He was arrested from his own home by Caimbridge, Mass., police, after a reported break-in. I’m not going to make a judgment call one way or the other because I wasn’t there and it’s unfair to make that call unless you were.
