Severe weather in the area forced officials at Jordan-Hare Stadium to ask patrons to seek shelter. What? It’s just water. A lot of it ... from the heavens. Oh ... the threat of lightning. Well, that could be bad. We had a shocker earlier today when Washington beat USC.

Anyway, fans flooded the exits. Not sure where you put 85,000 fans at once. Not my problem. Folks, except those crazy students, sought shelter as the scoreboard blared Have You Ever Seen the Rain and I Love a Rainy Night. Who picks out these songs anyway? Maybe next week Good Day, Sunshine will play.

As of now, Pat Dye Field is under water. Gene Chizik is 2-0 as the Tigers’ coach, but it might be a good idea to let former AU swim coach David Marsh call plays tonight.
