Hodges, Johnson

Mr. Samuel Brooks of Brownville, AL and Ms. Diane Hodges of Tuskegee, AL are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter Taraysa Dionne Hodges to Jorrod Franklin Johnson, son of Rev. and Mrs. Joe Frank Johnson of Auburn, AL.

The bride elect is the granddaughter of the late Julia Hughley Hodges of Apoka, Florida. She attended Southern Union Community College and is now employed as a Department Manager at Walmart Corporation.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Rev. and Mrs. Joe F. Johnson of Auburn, AL, the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. George Johnson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie A. Menifee of Auburn, AL. He is a graduate of Alabama State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. He is currently employed by the Macon County Board of Education and teaches at Notasulga Elementary School.

The wedding will be an event of August 8, 2009 at 3 p.m. at Greater Peace Missionary Baptist Church – Opelika, AL.
