Leney and Gwendolyn Houston of Lawrenceville, GA announce the engagement of their daughter, Lynielle Janeece Houston to Richard Ross Long, son of Terry and Carol Long of Beauregard, AL.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Carolyn Carlisle and the late Richard Carlisle, Jr. of Auburn, AL and the late John and Rosie Houston of Wedowee, AL. Lynielle is a 1999 math-science graduate of the Alabama School of Fine Arts and a 2004 graduate of Auburn University with a professional degree in Architecture. She is employed as an architect and LEED accredited professional for Cohen Carnaggio Reynolds of Birmingham, AL.

The future groom is the grandson of the late Ross and Mildred Long, and the late Richard and Minnie May, both of Beauregard, AL. Richard is a 1996 graduate of Beauregard High School and a 2004 graduate of Auburn University with a professional degree in Architecture. He is employed as an architect with Dungan and Nequette Architects of Birmingham, AL.

The wedding is planned for September 26, 2009, in Columbiana, AL.
