Prior to the chiming of the five o’clock hour, Cade and Jennifer Farris sang several songs of worship, including “Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing” and “The Potter’s Hand.“ Jane Leland, organist, provided beautiful accompaniment for the processional and recessional. The Reverend Steve Scoggins brought a message of encouragement from Proverbs 18:22 and then performed the vows and rings ceremonies. As the couple took their first communion together, the Farrises sang “Everlasting God.“
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Hillary White, the bride’s twin sister, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included the bride’s sisters Grace Bazemore Yukich and Shelley

Guests were welcomed to a reception at the Brownfield House where the band Bell and Lane entertained. After a honeymoon trip to Saint Lucia, the couple is at home in Birmingham.
