The Auburn University College of Architecture, Design and Construction will host a select group of high school students for its first Academic Success Action Program, or ASAP, during the next two weeks.

The program is to assist students in preparation for acceptance to Auburn and to help them succeed in the college curriculum. Students will attend an intensive, two-week enrichment experience each summer at the beginning of their ninth-grade year.

The first week, June 8-13, will include academic sessions such as physics, mathematics and AutoCAD lab, with the second week, June 15-20, consisting of one of the college’s summer camps focusing on architecture, design and construction fields.

The goal of ASAP is to increase minority enrollment and representation in architecture, design and construction and is sponsored by the Office of the Vice President for University Outreach and the college.
