Calixto Fortunato Ibarguen, 23, of Auburn was arrested Wednesday and charged with possession of burglar’s tools.

A 17-year-old Tuskegee boy was arrested Wednesday and charged with possession of cocaine.

Burglary of a residence and theft were reported Saturday at The Homes at Eagles Landing on West Longleaf Drive after someone took a TV, a desktop computer and monitor and damaged a door and frame between 9 a.m. Tuesday and 1:40 p.m. Saturday.

Burglary of a residence and burglary of an auto were reported Wednesday on Outing Club Road after an incident between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Burglary of an auto and theft were reported Wednesday at Auburn Hall Apartments on East Thatch Avenue after someone took a CD player between 5 p.m. Nov. 24 and noon Wednesday.

Possession of cocaine was reported Nov. 25 in Auburn after an incident occurred between 2:50 and 3:15 p.m.

Shoplifting was reported Wednesday at Big Cat Fuel on Alabama Highway 14 after someone took a bottle of brandy between 2:50 and 3 p.m.

Burglary of a residence and criminal mischief were reported Wednesday at Highland Condos on Harper Avenue after someone damaged a window between 3 p.m. Nov. 23 and 2:05 p.m. Wednesday.

Forged prescription and forgery were reported Wednesday in Auburn after an incident occurred between midnight April 3 and 11 p.m. Oct. 30.

Theft from a residence and criminal mischief were reported Friday on East Glenn Avenue after someone took a jigsaw, cordless drill, power drill, air compressor, miter saw, shop vacuum and nail gun and damaged a door between 4:30 p.m. Nov. 25 and 3 p.m. Friday.

Burglary of a residence and theft were reported Saturday on Rosie Street after someone took seven pairs of shoes, a dog, a cell phone and a laptop computer between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 3 p.m. Friday.

Theft from a residence was reported Sunday on Rosie Street after someone took a TV, a laptop computer and a ring between 3 p.m. Wednesday and 4 p.m. Saturday.

Burglary of an auto and larceny were reported Saturday on East Veterans Boulevard after someone took cash, 25 Darvocet tablets and five Lortab tablets and damaged a window between 6 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Man! I know APD is doing a great job and all and has hired more patrol, but I realize they can’t be everywhere.  Hmmmm, makes me wonder if I could be helping to make a slight difference had I accepted the position offered instead of focusing on that situation a few years ago when they had the corrupt cops tickets scandal.
