Burk Memorial Service

Fellow students are remembering Lauren Burk today.

Today marks one year since the kidnapping and murder of the Auburn University freshman. The violent crime attracted national attention.

A memorial service is going on right now and is being on Samford Lawn at the University at noon central time.

Courtney Lockhart of Smiths Station was arrested for the murder days later, he is currently awaiting trial.
