Raymond J. Harbert of Birmingham was nominated Friday by the Auburn University Trustee Selection Committee to fill an at-large position on the Auburn Board of Trustees.
Once the nomination is confirmed by the Alabama Senate, Harbert will take the seat currently held by Earlon McWhorter of Anniston, a trustee since 2001. McWhorter served as president pro tempore during his tenure.
