Five armed suspects enter Opelika home

Five men carrying handguns entered an Opelika residence Monday night, but nothing was taken and no one was injured, according to police.

Five black males dressed in dark clothing, wearing ski masks and carrying handguns entered a residence in the 3600 block of Randall Drive between 10:10 and 10:17 p.m., according to Opelika Police Capt. Allan Elkins.

The suspects left after the victim’s roommate called 911 from another room, Elkins said.

Nothing was taken and no one was injured in the incident, he said.
