One suspect in connection to three Opelika shootings

Opelika police have one suspect in connection to reported shootings into two occupied mobile homes and an unoccupied vehicle Thursday night.

A resident in the 1300 block of York Avenue reported having four shots fired into their trailer between 8:30 and 8:40 p.m. Thursday, according to Opelika police Capt. Allan Elkins.

A resident in the 1200 block of Montgomery Street reported having two shots fired into their mobile home at 9:15 p.m., Elkins said. An unoccupied 2002 Chevrolet pickup was also shot into in the 1200 block of Montgomery Street at 9:15 p.m., Elkins said.

No one was injured in any of the shootings, Elkins said.
