Opelika Fall Festival canceled due to rain

The Opelika Fall Festival, scheduled for today at 6 p.m. at the Opelika Sportsplex, has been canceled due to rain.
The event will not be rescheduled.
“They met this morning and because there are so many volunteers and the band, the best option this year is just not to have it,” Jan Gunter, community relations for the City of Opelika, said.
