Opelika Police Department reports for Dec. 31

* Daryl Nicholas Bledsoe, 28, of Auburn was arrested and charged with fugitive from justice at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday in connection with a theft of property charge in Muscogee County, Ga.
* Unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle and theft of property were reported Tuesday at a residence in the 100 block of Veterans Parkway after a rifle, three fishing reels and three fishing rods were taken between 9 p.m. Monday and 3 a.m. Tuesday.
* Burglary and theft of property were reported Tuesday at Colyer/Lloyd Construction after two cordless drills, two skill saws, a band saw, a full-face welding hood and a Sawzall were taken between 3 p.m. Dec. 23 and 10:45 a.m. Tuesday.
* Criminal possession of a forged instrument and theft of property were reported Tuesday after five of the victim’s checks were forged and used to buy merchandise at five stores in TigerTown between Nov. 1 and Dec. 9.
* Burglary and theft of property were reported Tuesday at a residence in the 100 block of Veterans Parkway after three necklaces, three pairs of earrings and a watch were taken between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
* Forgery and theft of property were reported Tuesday at Bed Bath & Beyond in the 2700 block of Enterprise Drive after a payroll check was taken and cashed between Oct. 31 and Nov. 2.
* Discharging a firearm into an unoccupied building was reported Tuesday after a metal frame and a glass window were damaged at Honda-Suzuki Motorcycles of Opelika in the 1100 block of Frederick Avenue at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday.
