Opelika Police Department reports for Nov. 13

* Burglary and theft of property were reported Wednesday at a residence in the 700 block of Fruitland Avenue after a Sony PlayStation 2 with controllers was taken between 7 a.m. and 5:50 p.m. Wednesday.
* Theft of property was reported Wednesday at Whilhite Trailer Sales in the 2100 block of Frederick Road after someone purchased a Transhaul trailer with a check on a closed account between noon and 1 p.m. Sept. 22.
* A 15-year-old boy was arrested and charged Wednesday at 11:02 a.m. with burglary in the third degree.
* Burglary and theft of property were reported Wednesday at a residence in the 300 block of North 2nd Street after an LCD television, a laptop computer, a Sony PlayStation 2 and a white gold diamond ring were taken between 7:10 a.m. and 4:40 p.m. Wednesday.
* Burglary and theft of property were reported Wednesday at a residence in the 2200 block of Dorsey Street after an electric chain saw, a pressure washer and assorted small hand tools were taken between 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Wednesday.
* Burglary and theft of property were reported Wednesday at a residence in the 3500 block of Birmingham Highway after a Sony PlayStation 3, 10 PlayStation 3 games, 20 DVDs, a gold necklace, a gold bracelet, two gold rings, a gold watch and an undetermined amount of cash was taken between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
* Criminal possession of a forged instrument and theft of property were reported Wednesday after a counterfeit check was cashed at Wright’s Grocery in the 600 block of Pleasant Drive at 3:12 p.m. Oct. 14.
