Opelika Police Department reports for Nov. 14

* Burglary and theft of property were reported Thursday at Opelika Metalfab in the 1200 block of Steel Street after copper electrodes were taken between 4:45 p.m. Wednesday and 6:15 a.m. Thursday.

* Criminal possession of a forged instrument was reported Thursday after three stolen checks were presented at Wal-Mart in the 2900 block of Pepperell Parkway between 8 a.m. Oct. 1 and 8 a.m. Oct. 23.

* Burglary and theft of property were reported Thursday at a residence in the 1400 block of Morgan Avenue after an Xbox game system and Sony PlayStation 2 were taken between 4:15 and 6 p.m. Thursday.

* Fraudulent use of a credit card was reported Thursday after the victim’s credit card number was used a various locations in Opelika between Oct. 22 and Nov. 5.

* Charlie Frank Stevenson, 28, of Auburn was arrested and charged at 7:05 p.m. Thursday with unlawful possession of marijuana in the first degree.
