A pizza delivery person in Opelika was robbed Saturday, with the suspect threatening to use a weapon, according to police.

The Domino’s employee was robbed of $35 at the intersection of Whittel Avenue and Poplar Street at 10:30 p.m., Opelika police Capt. Allan Elkins said.

The suspect threatened to use a weapon, but the victim did not report seeing a gun, Elkins said. No one was injured in the incident, Elkins said.

The suspect was described as a black male, between 17 and 18 years old, 5-foot, 9-inches tall, 140 pounds, wearing a white shirt and dark pants, Elkins said.
