Between 10:45 and 11 p.m. Monday, two black males with guns forcefully entered a residence in the 300 block of Dale Avenue, according to Opelika police Capt. Allan Elkins.

The suspects took $100 in currency and a cell phone, Elkins said. Three people were inside the residence, but no one was injured during the incident, Elkins said.

Elkins said one of the suspects left a pistol at the scene that turned out to be toy, Elkins said.

Both suspects were described as black males, 6-foot tall and 180 pounds, Elkins said. One suspect was wearing camouflage and a black ski mask, the other suspect was wearing black clothes and a black ski mask, Elkins said.
