Valley police looking for robbery suspect

Valley police are looking for a suspect who allegedly broke into a woman’s home Friday afternoon, confronted the woman with a handgun as she returned home, then fled in a pick-up truck.

According to a release from the Valley Police Department, detectives have identified the suspect and “are actively pursuing leads and expect an arrest.”

Police responded to a burglary in progress early Friday afternoon at the 2300 block of 26th Avenue. The resident reported she returned home to find her home broken into. She was then confronted by a suspect in the front of her home as the suspect exited.
