AU students hold vigil for quake victims
Auburn University’s Chinese Students and Scholars Organization will hold a candlelight vigil from 8 to 9 p.m., Friday on the Samford Hall lawn to mourn those who died in the recent earthquake in China and to bless the survivors.

Now, restaurants from Berkeley, Calif. to Sedgwick, Kan. are reporting thefts of old cooking oil worth thousands of dollars by rustlers who are refining it into barrels of biofuel in backyard stills.
