Bingo advocates rally at capitol

Laid off casino workers and supporters of legalizing bingo in Alabama marched to the capitol steps in Montgomery on Saturday for “The People’s Protest for Jobs, Justice, and the Opportunity to Vote” to try, among other things, to get Gov. Bob Riley to stop raids on casinos and to reopen gaming facilities shut down by the Governor’s Task Force on Illegal Gambling.
