The federal government does not always have to mandate individual state law. Instead, it has plenty of other issues to concern itself with to waste time with state matters, particularly menial ones.
For now, 14 states have approved the use of marijuana (medical cannabis) for healing or therapeutic purposes. But just because some states say it’s OK, that doesn’t make it legal in the United States.

Rush Limbaugh wants to buy the St. Louis Rams. Actually, he’s part of a group that is bidding for the football team. A native of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Limbaugh has said before that owning an NFL team is a dream of his. The current owners of the Rams haven’t even said they want to sell the team, just that they would entertain bids, which are expected to be somewhere around $700 to $750 million.

Frederick Road is known as a major thoroughfare through Opelika near Interstate 85. It is also known as the major artery that needed widening and repaving, but never really got all of it.
For nearly 15 years, Frederick Road has either been under some sort of construction or under the microscope for future projects.

Call it a happy medium. Alabama residents who want public records from the city of Auburn will pay 15 cents more per page, increasing from 10 cents to 25 cents, but they will receive the first five copies requested in a 12-month period at no cost.
