It’s time citizens bring this nation back where it should be
The approaching election offers us another opportunity to put “we the people” back in our government. With every session of Congress, committees, town hall meetings and shady backroom dealings, our leaders’ underlining objective has been to solidify their positions and enhance their powers. Our rights are in freefall.

Republicans, Democrats, Independents, Libertarians, etc., lets set everything aside and focus on putting honesty back in government. Is there anyone out there that believes in the integrity of our elected officials? Does anyone actually think our country is heading in the direction set forth by our founding fathers? Does anyone believe the recession has had any effect on the personal lifestyles of politicians? Anyone?

We must regain the freedoms granted to us by the Constitution. Let’s rid our government of idiots, thieves, sellouts, greed mongers, and those in power that are not standing up for our rights. These privileged ones gave themselves pay raises, bonuses, unbelievable retirement benefits, total health care, huge kickbacks, yet still find the need to cheat on their taxes and steal from us.

Let’s form a posse of 300 million members and show the Jesse James and Cole Younger gangs we are fed up with their criminal activities. Let’s join forces to put the people back in charge.

Please, even if your representative is a friend, relative, neighbor or saint, check their track record. Do not listen to others. Do not believe your emails. Do your own research. My guess is that you’ll find out their top priority is to retain their membership in the gangs.
