Lee-Scott girls JV basketball team deserves recognition
The junior varsity girls basketball team from Lee-Scott Academy just finished a record season Friday with 17 wins and no losses, earning the JV state championship in January.
These girls played their hearts out in every game, played as a team, and showed maturity and sportsmanship way beyond their years.
Congratulations to the team, coach Cory Ivett, their parents and Lee-Scott Academy. You should all be very proud of your team members.

Several members of the junior varsity team also played a considerable amount of time on the varsity team. They will begin state competition this week at Huntingdon College in Montgomery. Go Warriors and coach, Chad Preuitt.

It has been a pleasure being able to watch all of Lee-Scott Academy basketball teams play this school year.

Good luck from one of your biggest fans.
