A win’s a win, even if it’s ugly

There’s nothing like a thriller to kickoff the college football season. Like it or not, the last four minutes of Saturday’s Auburn-Kansas State game were very entertaining.
That’s what I love about college football. It’s not over until your listening to a coach’s postgame press conference.

Auburn pulled out a big win Saturday. But there are still a lot of questions left to be answered. Should the Tigers have struggled that much against Kansas State? Depends. K-State is a lot better than I thought. But where is Auburn?
More questions.
I think they are a team struggling for an identity and will need a lot more players who aren’t named Brandon Cox, Quentin Groves and Wes Byrum to step up and make some plays.
Tommy Tuberville said it best ... it wasn’t pretty, but it was a win.

And this Auburn team is going to be forced to win ugly a lot this year. Especially with games at Florida, Arkansas, LSU and Georgia. Because as far as road schedules go, it doesn’t get any uglier than that.
