New Site ... same old Lazy Blog

I know I’ve been slack, really slack, actually, in blog.

Well, that’s about to change.

Today, we here at the Opelika-Auburn News rolled out our new Web site. It should be easier to navigate, read, find stories and, yes, blog. (APOLOGY: If you are reading this blog, I owe you an apology, because it means you had to click on my ginormous floating, bald head. I’m sorry for that. God has a great sense of humor, and I’m Exhibit B of that. Exhibit A? Gravity. I’m trying to get that fixed, by the way. My photo, that is. Not gravity.)

But, being that I’m lazy, I’m going to wait until Monday to really get going on the blog tip.

So, beginning Monday, myself, and your favorite Auburn University blogger Collin Mickle, will be back in full force with tasty morsels of blogginess. (Yes, that is a word.)

I know you can’t wait.

So check out our new site, it’s still OANow.com.

And you’ll also be able to get to AuburnVersus.com from there, as well.

Actually, what we’re doing with AV, is making it our home page for all Auburn University sports. You can access it by typing in AuburnVersus.com, or you can go to the sports page on OANow.com and click “college” and you can get there, too.

Until then, let’s have a little poll.

I could ask who you think will win the Super Bowl, but that would be too cliche. So here’s what I want you to vote on ...

How many Super Bowl commercials will be funny? I mean, really funny. Not stupid. Not cute. But funny. Like the “Wassssssssuppppp?“ Budweiser commercials?

A) 1
B) 2
C) 3
D) None

Quincy Shanks High ... there’s no better name for a high school than the one Dirty Jack went to in North Florida.

By the way, Dwight Smith deserved to be the MVP of Super Bowl XXXVII.
