Tuberville/Jacobs Stakeout—Day 2

Back here at the Auburn Athletic Complex with a vending machine humming behind me. That’s what happens when you get here a couple minutes later than everything else.
No worries, though. Just like all of yesterday, nothing to report so far.
After eight or nine hours of sitting, waiting, walking around, annoying secretaries, receiving funny looks from students and being asked if I was lost (Yes, that happened around 4:30), the dedicated beat reporters got all the information to be had from Monday through an e-mail.
Go figure.
The meetings between Tommy Tuberville and athletic director Jay Jacobs are, allegedly, supposed to continue today. If they don’t, I don’t know if I could find a way to explain that logic. I have an e-mail in to director of public affairs, Brian Keeter, to see if president Dr. Jay Gogue’s role in these proceedings has concluded.
Auburn’s scheduled 8 a.m. team meeting let out a little bit ago. Of course, players were off limits.
As always, when the news happens, it will be posted here.
