The magic of the World Wide Web—do people still call it that anymore?—allowed us to post these while sitting at a Panera Bread with Lady Luck more than 18 hours ago.

We’re currently en route to Baton Rouge with two other Opelika-Auburn News employees.

Lady Luck is on her way back to South Bend. We’ll see her in a few weeks when the Auburn tackle football team—finally—takes a week off.

Here are some edges. We’ll be back when we arrive at the other Tigers Stadium—AKA Death Valley.

QUARTERBACKS
Both have had their fair share of struggles and both have had their job security questioned, but only one was added to the Manning Award Watch List this week.
Edge: Auburn

RUNNING BACKS
For some reason, Les Miles hasn’t felt the need to utilize punishing bruiser Charles Scott to his fullest abilities.
Edge: Auburn

RECEIVERS
The Bengal Tigers have speed to burn all over the field. Watch out for tight end Richard Dickson. He’s due for a breakout game.
Edge: LSU

OFFENSIVE LINE
The time in the pocket for Chris Todd hasn’t been as plentiful recently, but Auburn is still the best in the SEC at protecting him.
Edge: Auburn

FRONT 7
Plenty of experience for LSU here, with six of the seven starters being seniors. It’s impressive that Auburn even has seven bodies ready to fill these slots.
Edge: LSU

SECONDARY
Opponents have thrown just six touchdowns against the Bengal Tigers this season. The home teams has also taken two to the house and intercepted nine.
Edge: LSU

SPECIAL TEAMS
The loss of Harry Adams means another open spot to fill with a walk-on. The Tigers’ special teams might as well be called Auburn JV at this point.
Edge: LSU

COACHES
Until Gene Chizik wins a national championship—or proves successful when rolling the dice—it’s tough to give him the edge over Les Miles.
Edge: LSU

OVERALL
Death Valley is a tough place even when you arrive playing your best football. Auburn is certainly not doing that at this stage of the season and LSU defensive coordinator John Chavis has had two weeks to prepare for Gus Malzahn’s offense.
