Dogs have been a big part of my life for the better part of 45 years. My first memory of a family dog was an old lab and beagle mix named Ruffy; he was as kind and gentle as any dog I have ever know until you got near his food bowl. Ruffy would let out a warning growl to simply say &#8220;stay away.&#8221;           ]]></description>
