Auburn made 14-of-32 shots from 3-point range and Tay Waller scored a game-high 15 points to lead the Tigers to an 87-40, exhibition win over Division II Miles College on Friday at Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum.

AU ROUNDUP: Former Tiger Lundquist breaks US butterfly record
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Former Auburn swimmer Bryan Lundquist became the first American swimmer to ever record a sub-23 second time in the 50m butterfly. The three-time NCAA champion set the new record time of 22.91 during the opening leg of the 100m fly A Finals on Saturday at the 2009 Speedo Champions Series Southern Zone Eastern Sectional Championships.

The new Auburn basketball arena is about 56-percent complete and is on target to be finished before its July 14, 2010 contract deadline, said Byars, Auburn’s director of athletic facilities, construction and planning.
